My Moms beautiful cherries from her cherry trees.

The most delicious cherries I ever did taste! These are looking great this year, posted are pictures of years gone by. This year I decided to get to the cherries before the birds do! So we are picking them a little early.

Cherry season is the absolute best! Usually it is a little later in the spring, in northern California. But this year they are at least a week or two early. Shasta county makes wonderful cherries, and other fruit. If you are ever in Northern California, off of Interstate 5 are some wonderful places to buy fresh local fruit and nuts. The best you will ever have!

Sundial bridge, Sacramento river, Sun and Sunset, Redding, California

The Sundial bridge at the Turtle Bay Exploration Park is one of my favorite places to visit in Shasta county.  You can drive there and just take a nice walk.   Over the bridge, through the gardens, or down to the river to sit and enjoy.

You can go alone, with friends, family and bring guests to view the bridge it really is a great wonder.  An actual Sundial if you will!  🙂

Cinco de Mayo Celebration , Shasta College

There was a celebration for Cinco de Mayo at the local community college. It is a wonderful event, there is some good food, and latin music, along with these very talented young dancers from Corning High School. They are so energetic, and truly can dance well.

Here are the photographs that I took. They dresses are so colorful and beautiful!
