My parents were lucky enough to enjoy a grey whale expedition in Baja, Mexico. They loved the experience! It looks like an adventure, they camped out in the middle of nowhere, the camp completely disassembles when the season is over.
Here are some of the photographs they took of the grey whales. The are magnificent large whales, and are surprisingly gentle and calm around the smaller boats.
This is the company that my parent used for their Whale Watching expedition! They also camped because the lagoon isn’t accessible all year around and the campsite is broken down completely after the tour.
These are absolutely amazing pictures of an adventure that's on my Bucket List of things I want to experience – sitting in a small boat as gargantuan Gray Whales swim up close & personal to be petted. Sounds a little crazy when you put it that way, but what the heck! 🙂
Yes I agree! After seeing the photo's I decided it would be a great experience. My parents really like the expedition they went on. The link is above. Huell Howser does a PBS documentary on it, and it interesting to watch.

Thank you Becca, my parents took them. They went on this excursion in Baja CA. They went on tiny boats, surrounded by whales.
