Canyon Creek, Junction City, California

Beautiful Canyon Creek in Junction City, CA, is a great place to swim, large rocks and beautiful clear deep waters makes a great place to dive and swim.
Canyon Creek swimming hole.

Went swimming at this swimming hole today, it was very hot, and the water perfectly cool. It was also very refreshing and beautiful. There were kids there and adults jumping off the rocks, into the deeper parts of the water. Although there are still fires burning around this area, it happened to be pretty clear at the time we were there.

Although swim season is just about over, the days are still pretty hot, and I am sure people are still swimming now.  The water is probably a bit cooler now.  But in the hot days it’s refreshing.  There are still many fires happening all around California and the skies can be a bit overcast, and smokey at times.  Pictured here it was a smokey day.

Canyon Creek, Junction City, California

One of my favorite places to go and swim is Canyon Creek in Junction City, it is easy to get to and usually there are not too many people, especially on the weekdays. The water here is so pretty, fresh and clear. It is truly beautiful.

Rumplestiltskin School Play – Junction City, CA

I went to a school play my cousin’s kids were in. My cousin’s son was Rumplestiltskin, and he did a wonderful job. Here are some pictures. It was so cute, these are the bumble bee’s. The children did a great job and the performers also. They are from this organization, http://www.mctinc.org/

Chagdud Gompa – Junction City

This a Buddhist Tibetan community located in Junction City, quite close to where the memorial was held. I do wonder who built those. My mom’s friend used to live there, I should call her and ask her.

The structures are very beautiful, and the valley is very nice. You can see mountain peaks in the distance.
