Oriental Poppy or Papaver Orentale.

These bright orange and eggplant blackish color poppies are just gorgeous! They are really big too!  They are at the Highland Art Center in Weaverville, California.  Obviously, they have been growing for a very long time.

If you have time this weekend you should stop by and check out the flowers, they are beautiful!  You can’t just see them driving by, you have to get out and walk to the left of the art center. You really should stop by anyway.   The art center always has really nice handmade gifts, jewelry, art, great for birthdays, and what have you.

The Highland Art Center is a great place to enjoy some flowers in the spring, get some great art, jewelry, and lots of other handmade gifts!  Visit this weekend to see the Oriental Poppies!

Weaverville Art Cruise

Weaverville has an Art Cruise the first Saturday of each Month. I went to the last one and there was so much beautiful art from all kinds of different mediums. I will have to make a point of going to this more often.
