This is my absolute favorite photograph because my mother took it. Plus I love the flower, and the color of the flower. My mom and I both loved this flower. My love from flowers comes from my mother, grandmother and aunts. In memory of my mother for Mother’s day. Love you always Mom.
My Mom took this photograph. 🙂
For two years now this pink hollyhock volunteer has been growing by the white picket fence.
A volunteer plant, means a seed came along via the wind or something and planted itself.
I love this flower and I love the fact that we didn’t ask for it
These bright orange and eggplant blackish color poppies are just gorgeous! They are really big too! They are at the Highland Art Center in Weaverville, California. Obviously, they have been growing for a very long time.
If you have time this weekend you should stop by and check out the flowers, they are beautiful! You can’t just see them driving by, you have to get out and walk to the left of the art center. You really should stop by anyway. The art center always has really nice handmade gifts, jewelry, art, great for birthdays, and what have you.
The Highland Art Center is a great place to enjoy some flowers in the spring, get some great art, jewelry, and lots of other handmade gifts! Visit this weekend to see the Oriental Poppies!
